On February 12, 2013 we announced our purchase of SinglePoint’s name, a name recognized and known throughout the industry as a pioneer in the mobile messaging market. With the acquisition of SinglePoint’s assets, Carbon Credits International Inc. will obtain the use of the Copyright and trademark on the name SinglePoint, as well as the domain name of the former mobile messaging and advertising company.

They were known for their high volume message routing platform that was uniquely developed for supporting the mobile industry’s high volume SMS campaigns including: Deal or No Deal, Red Cross Haiti campaign, Obama ’08 campaign, Beijing & Vancouver Olympics, American Idol and many others. Carbon Credits International will gain this high volume message routing platform to be utilized in conjunction with its current technologies.

Note: There is a one time $500 Fee for mGive Foundation Application. Nonprofit 501c3 organizations wishing to use the Micro Donation Platform must be vetted and approved by TMF prior to launch of any/all campaigns. NPOs wishing to collect mirco-donations of $5 and $10 through major wireless carrier billing must meet the following criteria.

  • Registered 501c3 in good standing for one year
  • Raise of $500,000 per year
  • Submit 990 tax returns and meet other criteria as outlined by TMF that may change from time to time based on carrier requirements.

Recently, SinglePoint has taken an interest in the cannabis industry. They aim to provide business services ranging from marketing and digital signage to payment processing with their Text a Day(TM) proprietary software. The company has signed a joint venture agreement with Advanced Content Services, Inc. and GreenHouse Payment Solutions to form GreenStar Payment Solutions, Inc., a venture that is expected to yield attractive monthly profits. The cannabis sector has previously been an exclusively cash dominated market, due to concerns over federal regulation and raids on banks dealing with cannabis companies. On July 17th, the U.S. House voted to support cannabis industry banking by forbidding federal funding’s use in the penalization of financial institutions that serve cannabis related businesses operating under state laws.

In order to take full advantage of this new legislation, SinglePoint launched SingleSeed, a subsidiary that will provide cashless payment solutions to the cananbis industry, which previously had no access to them. This market segment deals with approximately $2 billion of revenue each year, and up to this point these transactions have been all cash. By extending the ability to accept Pay by Text(TM) technology and credit or debit cards, SinglePoint has positioned themselves well to receive transaction fees from a portion of this rapidly growing market segment, which is expected to reach over $8B by 2016.

Greg Lambrecht, the CEO of SinglePoint, is excited by recent legislation, including the medical marijuana legalization that just passed in New York. He has also expressed his confidence that as banks offer services to cannabis businesses, SingleSeed and GreenStar Payment Solutions will see dramatic sales increases. The company has been targeting 1,000 new accounts by the end of the year, and Mr. Lambrecht has reported that he’s been excited to see the company exceeding sales goals so far.

As a result, SinglePoint has been attending a great deal of industry networking events and summits in order to extend their reach into the cannabis sector.
